Paddy Briggs

 

 

Paddy Briggs was born in Kent in 1946. He was educated at Dulwich College, The Leys School Cambridge and what is now Thames Valley University in Ealing. After a 37 year career with the international oil company Shell Paddy retired in 2002 and in his personal Third Age he has devoted a high proportion of his time to watching and writing about sport especially cricket. Paddy's sports journalism has included weekly columns for various print and online publications in the Middle East. Paddy is a long established member of Kent County Cricket Club and of the MCC; a member of the Cricket Writers Club, the Sports Journalists' Association.
